I’m back from a whirlwind adventure in the cities, and now I’m ready for a nap. After getting done with work on Friday at 6, Ethan and I hurriedly packed and then headed off to the twin cities. We arrived to a dark house and satellite television. The next morning, my dad was working on my car, replacing the sway bar (or so I’m told). There was nothing to eat at their place, so we borrowed my parents’ (really really old) Suburban and went to Perkins. Of course because it is old and no one uses it except for occasional trips, the Suburban wouldn’t start, and we couldn’t get the hood open… We ended up getting off to a late start. Then my dad finished my car, but inadvertently destroyed the remnants of my tail pipe, which was in good working order before he started. I ended up driving to Prescott with a noisy car around 11:30 and then came home in the afternoon, only to find that food had not magically appeared and Ethan and I had to go buy stuff to make pasta salad. That afternoon we were able to buy some clothes too, which is fantastic because our respective wardrobes are pretty pathetic. Anyway, I’m going to go relax in a non-computer way.
